Landforms
The Students learned about the landforms and how they are created from weathering, erosion and deposition. They created a landform diorama to show what they had learned about landforms and how they are created.
The Students learned about the early explorers of the 1500's. They became an explore and partnered up with another student. They interviewed each other and created a tool that would have helped each other on their expedition.
Volcanos
The students learned about 3 types of Volcanoes and how they each erupted. The shield is a slow flowing volcano that's ashes create a fertile soil. An example of this is Hawaii. The Composite Volcano is made up of layers and is a large volcano. It has large Eruptions of lava. The Cinder-Cone Volcano erupts once and erupts pumice and ash.
